Solid Lapel Slim Shirt

This is for the size medium green and black pair of shirts. For reference I’m a 36D 5’4” ~155lb woman. I can’t speak towards the transparency of the light colored shirts, but the dark ones are absolutely not see through. The fabric is about standard thickness for a stretchy shirt—thinner/softer than those unisex shirts companies/organizations put branding on to hand out but definitely not thin. They come with a bit of an artificial smell (like plastic that has to off-gas) but it washes right out. I ran them through the washer and dryer and they held up perfectly well with no apparent color bleeding. No wrinkles. Very comfortable and pleasantly form-fitting. Definitely a good buy for us curvy women that either look like boxes with larger shirts or worry about busting out of smaller shirts that fit our torsos better! The V-neck also does a good job of accommodating the chest without being too revealing (unless you want to tug it down a bunch). The only negative is that the shoulder seams stick up in a slightly odd way but that’s not a deal breaker for me. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could for that. Maybe they will flatten out. An iron might help but I’m not confident about that.

What's up with these shoulders and after all the comments about them, why hasn't Amazon altered that part of the shirt. I am hoping it goes away after washing. If not, the price and quality are good enough to wear underneath cardigans. The material is super soft, has a good weight to it, and a lot of give/stretch. This is a type of shirt that is suppose to be fitted. I am 140 lbs and got the small and could have sized down and still had plenty of room. I would recommend going with your true size and not sizing up as a lot of people say because it doesn't look right when you have all that fabric bunched up and loose around the stomach. If the shoulder issue fixes itself, I will absolutely buy every color. I typically pay a lot more for Express t-shirts and these are much higher quality.

I've tried a bunch of the plain black shirts on Amazon, and so far these are the most normal. I ordered XS and while they're still baggier than I'd like, they're the most female shaped with no weird zones. They're tapered correctly and the armpits aren't tight. The bottom of the shirt is past the hips and quite long. Unfortunately they are pretty see-through. So if they made a smaller or more fitted option, made it less transparent, and cropped maybe 3-4 inches off the bottom, it would be a perfect shirt. For now I think they're too overpriced for the quality. For reference, my measurements are 32-24-37, and my height is 5'4"

I wear a medium in regular tshirts and so ordered a medium in these. They were skin tight and showed all the things. I’m going to try an XL because I do like how the fabric felt, but I just need some breathing room!
